What are the requirements for imported food in the Food Safety Law?

The article 92 of Food Safety Law indicates that imported food, imported food additive, and imported food-related product should comply with China national food safety standards. Imported food and imported food additive should be qualified by entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations on import and export commodity inspection. Imported food, and imported food additive should be accompanied by qualified certification materials in accordance with the requirements of the national entry-exit inspection and quarantine departments.
